Due to continued growth, Evolve Healthcare is expanding our team and looking for a Casual Allocations & Recruitment Consultant to join us. This role is flexible, people-focused, and plays an important part in keeping public and private hospitals, aged care facilities, and community services safely staffed.
The position is primarily remote, with a minimum of one day per month required in our Melbourne office to connect with the team.
Whether you have recruitment/allocations experience, or you’re a nurse wanting to transition into an administrative role, this role could be a great fit — especially if you’re looking for flexible work that complements your nursing shifts or studies.
What you’ll do
- Support our Allocations team to fill shifts across hospitals, aged care, and community services
- Conduct screening calls with Nurses, Midwives and Healthcare Workers
- Complete reference checks to ensure suitability and confirm Clinical Skills
- Match nurses and carers to roles that suit their skills and availability
- Manage incoming shift requests and respond quickly to client needs
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both candidates and clients
- Learn and support different functions across the business as we continue to grow
What we’re looking for
- Flexibility to work a minimum of 2 shifts per week, with hours varying based on business needs
- Recruitment or allocations experience OR a clinical background (ideal for nurses moving into an office/administrative role)
- Strong communication and customer service skills, confident on the phone
- Organised, adaptable, and able to manage changing priorities
- Comfortable working remotely, with monthly presence in our Melbourne office
Important to note
As our service supports healthcare, our business operates between 5am and 1am daily. While we always do our best to meet roster preferences, shift lengths will vary between 4 and 8 hours within these times.
