About the Opportunity
Join the Vascular team delivering expert care in one of the hospital's most specialised surgical wards. Ward 4B is home to vascular excellence supporting patients through complex procedures such as aneurysm repairs, bypass grafts, and carotid endarterectomies.
As a valued member of our nursing team, you'll work side-by-side with vascular surgeons, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, social workers, and specialist nursing staff to deliver holistic, patient-centred care.From pre-operative preparation to post-operative monitoring and rehabilitation, your role will be pivotal in ensuring safe, compassionate, and culturally responsive care.
In this role, you'll develop specialist expertise in advanced wound care, including the use of negative-pressure therapy and the management of complex dressings. You'll support patients through diabetic foot care and limb preservation strategies, while also delivering oxygen therapy and overseeing post-surgical recovery. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team including surgeons, allied health professionals, and specialist nurses you'll contribute to collaborative care planning that prioritises holistic support and optimises patient outcomes.

Where You'll Be Working
Liverpool Hospital, founded in 1813, is the major health service for south-western Sydney, providing services to the local government area of Liverpool City Council as well as district services to residents and visitors in the area. It also provides a range of state-wide services in areas such as critical care and trauma, neonatal intensive care and brain injury rehabilitation.
The Hospital provides a health service of international standing, with 23 operating theatres, capacity for 877 beds, diagnostic and imaging services, emergency and trauma care, maternity, paediatric, cancer care, mental health, ambulatory care, allied health and medical and surgical services from birth to aged care.
Liverpool Hospital is currently undergoing a major redevelopment. The $790 million Liverpool Health and Academic Precinct (LHAP) project will provide enhanced facilities and an increased capacity to meet future significant population growth for South Western Sydney.
Liverpool Hospital is a principal referral and teaching Hospital of the UNSW Sydney and the Western Sydney University and also welcome students from over 20 universities and colleges.
