This is a unique opportunity for an Associate or Senior Associate (2–7 years' post‐admission experience) to join our Competition and Regulatory team in Brisbane, working directly with leading competition partner Susan Jones and alongside our Tier 1 M&A team.
You'll advise on competition law and merger clearance matters for an exceptional client base, including private equity funds, corporates, and founder‐led businesses.
You'll gain exposure to a wide range of matters, including:
* Advising on ACCC merger notification requirements, notifying acquisitions to the ACCC and applying for notification waivers;
* Supporting strategic corporate transactions, including working closely with leading M&A partners and clients across multiple industries;
* Advising on competition and consumer law matters, including commercial transactions and strategies, ACCC investigations, enforcement proceedings and private litigation; and
* Advising on compliance with regulatory regimes for specific industries.
We are seeking a candidate with competition law experience and strong academic credentials who thrives in a team environment, demonstrates curiosity, and shows a genuine willingness to learn and grow.
