Design & Technology Teacher - Food & Hospitality (Years 7 – 12)
Commencing Term 1 2026
We seek an experienced and passionate teacher who:
* Has relevant qualifications and experience in teaching Food Technology and QCAA Hospitality Practices to Secondary students.
* Has experience or the capability to teach in second learning area including Design, Construction or Digital Technology.
* Has an excellent understanding of QCE syllabus requirements.
* Has a passion for designing and delivering engaging lessons within a contemporary learning framework.
* Is experienced and confident in differentiating the curriculum in the classroom.
* Is a positive, energetic and collaborative contributor to a highly successful department and is committed to continuous improvement of educational outcomes.
* Has strong assessment and reporting skills, including maintaining accurate records and communicating student progress to both students and families.
* Has a track record of positive engagement with parents, colleagues, and the wider school community.
* Upholds high standards of professional conduct, integrity, and teamwork.
* Is committed to supporting student wellbeing.
* Current Queensland College of Teacher Registration.
