A regional health service is seeking a Stroke Physician to provide locum coverage supporting acute stroke services within a busy hospital setting.Applications are welcome from General Physicians, Neurologists, or Geriatricians with stroke training who are experienced in managing acute stroke presentations and ongoing inpatient care.Position DetailsRole: Stroke PhysicianDates: 7 April – 7 June 2026Roster: 0800 – 1700 weekdaysOn Call: Some after hours and weekend on-call requiredRate: $2,500 per dayTravel & Accommodation: Flights, accommodation and car hire provided.Clinical Responsibilities:Assess patients for thrombolysis and thrombectomy pathwaysReview stroke presentations in the Emergency DepartmentInpatient management of acute stroke patients and stroke rehabilitationParticipation in multidisciplinary stroke careConduct stroke follow-up outpatient clinicsSupported by a Stroke Registrar and InternFor further information about this job, please contact Courtland Watson on 1300 900 100.
