About The Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead the charge at our PGH Bricks plant in Cecil Park. Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, this is a hands-on leadership position focused on planning, scheduling, and executing all site maintenance activities—while promoting a safe and collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the Maintenance team to ensure optimal site operation, maximizing efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
* Manage maintenance activities within allocated budgets and cost controls.
* Oversee service contractors, ensuring full compliance with Workplace Safety, Health, and Environment (WSHE) requirements.
* Plan and schedule maintenance activities and plant shutdowns to meet KPI targets.
This role is ideal for a collaborative leader with a strong background in maintenance management within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
What You Bring To The Role
* Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or relevant trade qualifications.
* Proven experience in Maintenance or Engineering Management within a manufacturing operations environment.
* Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing a high-performing Maintenance team and fostering a positive culture.
* Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), with SAP experience preferred.
* Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and in-depth knowledge of a wide range of equipment.
* A safety-first mindset, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
