Academic Support Role
The Casual Academic position involves providing academic support to students in a variety of courses within the School of Agriculture and Food Sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
* Delivering teaching and learning activities, including practical classes, demonstrations, student field excursions, marking, exam invigilation, preparation time, facilitation of class activities, consultation with students, attendance at induction sessions, undertaking of training as required, moderating discussion forums, and being available for student consultation online or in person.
* Ensuring compliance with legislation and University policy relevant to duties, including The University's Code of Conduct, requirements of the Queensland occupational health and safety (OH&S) legislation and related OH&S responsibilities and procedures developed by the University or Institute/School, adoption of sustainable practices in all work activities, and compliance with associated legislation and related University sustainability responsibilities and procedures.
