Chandler Macleod is seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our client in pump systems and services at their workshop, this position will be Monday to Friday. You’ll be responsible for manufacturing, installation, service and maintenance of pump equipment and associated components. This role offers the chance to work in a modern, high-standard facility in a full-time role.
About the Role
You will be responsible for the manufacture, installation, service and maintenance of pump systems and associated equipment. Your role includes inspecting and diagnosing faults, determining repair needs and preparing accurate written condition reports for equipment undergoing service or overhaul.
A willingness to support the training and development of apprentices, contributing to a skilled, collaborative and safety‑focused work environment. You are expected to uphold high levels of workmanship, reliability and professional conduct to ensure safe, high‑quality outcomes for customers and maintain the company’s reputation.
Essential Requirements
* Cert III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade
* Relevant post trade certificates
* Good mechanical aptitude
* Full working rights in Australia
* Own vehicle & current driver’s license
* Physically fit & comfortable working with heavy machinery and pumps
* Positive attitude & strong safety focus
* National police clearance
Desirable:
* High risk license (LF)
* White card
* Experience within a workshop environment
* Experience working onsite
