To lead a centralised team of Document Control specialists across Energy & Utilities to ensure document and record management on our contracts and projects meet The Downer Standard requirements through a culture of operational excellence and regulatory compliance. What you'll do
* Using Downer's preferred DMS (InEight Document) ensuring accurate and up-to-date management and governance of project documentation
* Establish and maintain a comprehensive document control system to ensure consistent, accurate, and compliant management of project documents, adhering to industry best practices and internal policies
* Leadership, direction and ownership of the EDMS and developing optimisation / integration opportunities (Modern Workplace) - reducing retrieval time, enhancing productivity and enabling faster decision-making across the organisation
* Enhance the capability and capacity of the document control team
* Report on the utilisation of InEight Document by delivery teams
* Ensure compliance of Downer's Document Control Systems to ISO 9001 requirements
* Identify and address compliance gaps, working closely with relevant teams to implement corrective actions

What we're looking for
* Highly experienced within Document Control related roles with recent experience at a Senior / Lead Document Control level
* Strong demonstrated project‐based experience managing a document/records management system, with a focus on configuration of the EDMS, work processes, and coordination of project work with other entities
* Sharp capabilities in document and records management software e.g. InEight Document/ Aconex etc
* Strong mentoring and leadership abilities with experience in managing and developing teams who are geographically dispersed
* A passion for developing and maintaining a psychologically safe operating environment for the document control team and its stakeholders
* Outstanding communication and presentation skills and feel energized by interacting with key stakeholders at all levels
* Able to express, engage and influence outcomes through high levels of communication and teamwork
