Position Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Subject Matter Expert (SME) with deep expertise in AWS or Azure environments. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical leadership with hands‐on solutioning, automation, and compliance knowledge. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to produce clear technical documentation, and proven experience managing technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and mentor teams of 6–10 engineers, providing technical guidance and grooming.
* Architect, implement, and support enterprise‐scale AWS or Azure cloud environments.
* Drive CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes/EKS/AKS management, and DevOps practices.
* Integrate and optimize monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Container Insights, Application Insights, Azure Monitor).
* Deliver unified dashboards for cloud and SaaS‐based monitoring solutions.
* Participate in RFPs and solutioning activities for enterprise clients.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards (PCI DSS, SOC2, ISO 27000).
* Produce well‐structured technical documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
Core Skills
* Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
* Strong ability to produce clear, structured technical documentation.
* Proven leadership and team management experience.
AWS Expertise
* 8+ years supporting enterprise‐scale AWS environments.
* 1–2 years with Amazon EKS (CI/CD, Kubernetes management).
* 2–3 years in Kubernetes‐focused CI/CD and DevOps.
* Mandatory AWS Architect Certifications (Associate & Professional).
* Additional certifications in Development and Operations preferred.
* Experience with monitoring and automation (CloudWatch, Container Insights, Application Insights).
* 8+ years supporting enterprise‐scale Azure environments.
* 1–2 years with Azure AKS (CI/CD, Kubernetes/Docker management).
* Experience with monitoring and automation (Azure Monitor, Application Insights, SaaS‐based tools).
