Allstar Blue are currently seeking experienced Conveyor Technicians / Conveyor Supervisors for Permanent FIFO positions in WA.
What we are looking for:
Conveyor Technicians (Level 2 / Level 3) x 6
Conveyor Supervisors x 5
Key Responsibilities:
Belt Splicing, Repairs, Maintenance and Installations to: Steel Cord, Fabric, Solid Woven and Ply belts.
Contribute towards the companies safety policies
Report any incidents, hazards or near misses
Assist with creating splice reports
Coordinate workflow, crew and the equipment
Perform hot and cold repairs
Perform pulley lagging and apply mechanical clips
Identify common belt damage/faults and determine method of repair
Conduct belt audits
Requirements:
Valuable knowledge of all forms of Belt Splicing and Installations
Extensive Steel cord experience
Solid commitment to Safety
An understanding of high integrity splicing procedures
