As an Electronics Technician, you will play a critical role in the hands-on assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of electronic modules, subassemblies, and complete RF systems.
Working closely with our engineering team, you will help ensure our products meet stringent performance, safety, and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assemble electronic modules, subassemblies, and RF systems, including PCB work, cabling, and mechanical integration.
* Read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and work instructions.
* Perform precision soldering (through-hole and surface-mount) and fabricate cable looms and terminations.
* Conduct functional and performance testing using oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers, VNAs, and related RF test equipment.
* Record test results, identify faults, and carry out component-level rework and repairs.
* Complete production and test documentation accurately and follow quality and configuration management processes.
* Update records and technical information in Windchill, Altium365, and
* Support engineering teams by providing feedback to improve assembly methods and product manufacturability.
To succeed in the role, you will have:
* Certificate in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical experience.
* Demonstrated experience in electronics assembly, testing, and fault-finding.
* Familiarity with RF and electronics laboratory test equipment and measurement techniques.
* Skilled in cabling, soldering, and hardware assembly with high-reliability manufacturing practices.
Desirable but note essential:
* Understanding of RF systems, antennas, signal processing, or EW concepts.
* Skilled in PCB soldering, including surface-mount components.
* Experience in defence or high-reliability electronics manufacturing
Other Requirements:
* High level of manual dexterity and attention to detail.
* Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, drawings, and schematics.
* Security Clearance (or ability to obtain).
