This role is integral to the development and maintenance of plant control systems (PCS) and automation infrastructure at our underground mine. You will be responsible for implementing PCS standards, driving change management processes, and ensuring operational efficiency and reliability.

Your Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement standards for plant control systems (PCS) and automation processes.

* Manage and maintain PCS, including SCADA and PLC programming, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.

* Supervise contractors and site personnel involved in control systems and automation projects.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

* A degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Electrical Trade with strong PLC programming experience.

* Experience in Rockwell Automation software, including Allen-Bradley PLCs and Plant SCADA.

* Strong capability in SCADA system development, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

* Hands-on experience with automation and control system projects in heavy industrial environments.

* Self-motivation, proactivity, and comfort working autonomously in a dynamic mining environment.

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with cross-functional teams.
