The opportunity
The Royal Freemasons community is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Quality Manager to join our team. As the Quality Manager at Royal Freemasons, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and services to residents. This role is accountable for the ongoing development and evaluation of all components of the quality and risk management system, facilitating continuous improvement in line with the Aged Care Standards and associated requirements across Victoria.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitoring, reviewing, and evaluating quality systems to identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement
* Establish and monitor quality procedures to meet all regulatory requirements
* Lead meetings on quality and compliance matters, including audits and reviews
* Assist with organisational policies and protocols to ensure legislative compliance
* Support the Facility Manager and multidisciplinary team in analyzing data on indicators and risks
* Develop innovative solutions for identified gaps in collaboration with management and the quality team
* Provide advice and support to Residential Aged Care staff regarding Aged Care Quality Standards and resident assessments
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Requirements
* Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
* Knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Aged Care Act 2025, Governing for Reform in Aged Care, and Support at Home programs
* Registered Quality Assessor
* Successful completion of the Aged Care Quality Assessor’s Course
Other Requirements
* A valid Victorian driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle
* Police Clearance or NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or both)
* Vaccination against COVID-19 (3 doses) and the Flu Vaccine is encouraged
