Communications Officer - Electronic Rostering Program
We are seeking a skilled Communications Officer to support our high-impact digital transformation initiative. This role will involve developing and delivering engaging communication materials, coordinating stakeholder engagement events, and supporting positive change experiences for diverse stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop Communication Materials: Create high-quality communication materials for various audiences and channels, including intranet sites, video presentations, newsletters, posters, and fact sheets.
* Coordinate Stakeholder Engagement Events: Plan and execute stakeholder engagement events and activities, ensuring effective communication with geographically dispersed stakeholders.
* Collaborate with Experts: Work with subject matter experts to create change communication messages and collateral, providing timely feedback and advice on risks and barriers to successful change.
* Maintain Communication Schedules: Review and update the program communication schedule, track and analyse communication effectiveness, and maintain issue management communications.
* Travel for Communication Delivery: Occasionally travel to various sites to deliver communication artefacts and merchandise, as well as take photographs.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
* Hands-on Communications Experience: Minimum 2 years' hands-on communications experience on fast-paced projects across geographically dispersed locations.
* Design and Development Skills: High-level design and development skills using intranet sites, Microsoft 365 Office Suite, SharePoint, Adobe Pro, Illustrator, and other IT tools.
* Quality Communication Materials: Proven ability to develop and deliver quality communication materials for various stakeholder audiences and channels.
* Stakeholder Engagement Methodologies: Experience with stakeholder engagement methodologies and building collaborative relationships.
* Change Resistance Management: Knowledge and experience in managing change resistance and coaching leaders for positive communications.
