The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Admin Officer to join our busy accounts and administration team at our head office in Cairns. This role will be primarily responsible for managing accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments, supporting the finance team with administrative duties, and delivering high-quality administrative support.
You'll also act as a key point of contact for client account enquiries and play an important role in maintaining strong relationships. The successful applicant will need to be a diligent worker, have a desire to succeed and have experience in accounts and administration.
We envisage they will possess good numeracy and literacy skills and a basic knowledge of computers and computer software.
Typing skills, basic accounting knowledge and usage of spreadsheets will be well regarded.
They will also need a sense of humour and a fun personality to fit in with our current office team.
In return, we will supply a permanent part-time, 20-hour-a-week job with award wages.
