Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Youth Justice Coordinator to lead the day-to-day operations of our Bail Facility and Community Mentoring Program.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage referrals, intake, and case coordination for young people in bail or mentoring programs
* Lead and supervise a team of Residential Support Workers and Youth Mentors
* Coordinate tailored daily programs for young people staying in the Bail Facility
* Sport Community Mentors and partner agencies to deliver culturally safe mentoring services
* Attend Youth Justice case meetings and stakeholder forums
* Ensure all client data, reports and documentation are accurate and meet contractual requirements
* Support community partnerships and represent our organisation in local and regional meetings
* Maintain service coverage through forward planning, rostering, and staff support
What You'll Need:
A qualification in Youth Work, Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health, AOD, or similar
* 3+ years of relevant experience, or a combination of qualifications and experience
* Strong leadership skills with experience supervising and supporting staff
* Knowledge of Youth Justice, and experience supporting young people with complex needs
* Cultural competence and experience working respectfully with Aboriginal young people
* Excellent communication, administration, and organisational skills
* Confidence managing crisis situations and working within professional boundaries
* Current WA driver's licence, Working with Children Check, National Police Clearance (within 3 months), and Department of Justice Clearance
