* To delivery high level clinical occupational therapy acute rehabilitation services, under a skill share model, to inpatient clients within the Wide Bay Hospital & Health Service (Bundaberg).
* To deliver professional leadership in acute rehabilitation including clinical practice supervision of less experienced therapists and clinical support staff. To provide leadership and contribute to service development, education and research in the relevant profession department, the acute rehabilitation service.
What we're looking for:
* Demonstrated high level of knowledge, skill, and expertise within occupational therapy across the rehabilitation setting including neurological, geriatric, and orthopaedics.
* Demonstrated ability to provide clinical services of a complex nature, where established principles, procedures and methods require some expansion, adaptation or modification.
* Demonstrated high level communication skills including the ability to provide clinical service advice & identify service improvement opportunities to the profession Director and other relevant stakeholders.
* Demonstrated ability to initiate, plan and evaluate local service improvement initiatives.
* Demonstrated ability to provide clinical supervision to other team members.
* Demonstrated ability to provide clinical education to undergraduate & graduate occupational therapists.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Mandatory possession of a qualification from a registered tertiary institution as an Occupational Therapist and Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency with a current annual practicing certificate is essential.
* Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and if applicable registration or membership with the appropriate registration authority or association. Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager, prior to the commencement of clinical duties.
* The incumbent is to be available to participate in regular on call, public holiday & weekend rosters as relevant to their profession and the position.

You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $94,416 p.a., comprising salary between $76,901 - $82,750 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP4) (Temporary Part Time, 45.6 hours p.f. from date of appointment for up to 12 months with the possibility of extension) (Applications will remain current for the duration of the vacancy).
