About the role

Are you someone who thrives in operational leadership in a busy recreation centre environment, and is passionate about leading and coaching a frontline team to deliver high-quality, community-focused recreation services? We're looking for an experienced and motivated Operations Team Leader to take operational leadership and manage the day to day service delivery of a recreation centre and its associated synthetic sportsfield/s within our growing recreation precinct.

Your responsibilities will also include customer service delivery, maintenance coordination and the application of safety and compliance standards, ensuring our venues operate consistently, safely and to a high quality.

Working under the guidance of the Precinct Manager, you'll help drive consistent precinct wide practices, support service improvements, contribute to planning and reporting, and ensure programs, events and activations are operationally ready and aligned with community needs. You'll also support the Precinct Manager with the transition, opening and activation of the new Huntley Street Recreation Centre as this growing precinct continues to expand.

We're looking for someone with:

* solid financial and operational management skills
* excellent communication and engagement capability, working collaboratively with a range of internal and external stakeholders
* the ability to drive service improvement and support operational planning.
