This role is part of Volvo Financial Services (VFS), who offer complete solutions for truck and equipment financing and service.
What you will do
As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the sales financial activities, with in the Western Australian region. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
· Achieve sales targets and business objectives set by the company
· Plan and execute sales financing activities
· Periodic review of the business objectives
· Business development activities within the VFS Australia Sales Team
· Introduce Volvo financial products & services to customers and maintain strong customer relationships
· Develop and maintain strong working relationship with Dealership, and Volvo market companies' sales teams, and develop / implement appropriate marketing activities and incentive plans with the market companies - in accordance with National Sales & Marketing Manager and VFS Management Team
· Monitor market trends and provide monthly and periodic Sales Reporting
· Prepare and submit credit applications to the Credit Committee for approval - in accordance with Credit & Risk policies and procedures and in co-operation with Credit & Risk personnel
· Work jointly with the Credit & Risk function to develop and maintain an efficient, accurate and speedy credit application and approval process
· Assist in collection/overdue activities and provide support in any delinquency/ legal action against default customers.
Your future team
Reporting to the Director of Sales and Market Development, you will work in a team of 7 geographically dispersed Regional Finance Manager's. Your team will form part of the greater Volvo Financial Services team of 23, made up of Finance, Risk & Operations, Business Transformation, Business Support and Solution Engineering. You will be based full-time in one of our Perth locations.
