About the role
We're not looking for someone to sit back and wait for briefs. We're looking for someone who creates the opportunities. This is a 6‐month contract role focused on lead development and momentum, getting Boom in front of the right people and building a strong pipeline of real opportunities.
You'll open doors, start conversations and build relationships that turn into real work. You don't need to run projects end‐to‐end, but you do need to set them up properly and hand them over clean.
There's a lot of opportunity here to make a serious impact in a short space of time. If you can get traction quickly, you'll be valued.
What you'll be doing
* Identifying and targeting the right brands, agencies and partners
* Building a consistent pipeline of high‐quality leads and opportunities
* Getting meetings, calls, coffees, walkthroughs, whatever it takes
* Starting smart, commercially grounded conversations
* Understanding client needs and spotting where we can add value
* Helping develop proposals and pitch directions
* Representing Boom Studios out in the market
* Keeping momentum across your pipeline and following through
* Handing over solid, well‐qualified opportunities to the Account Management team
Must‐haves
* Proven experience in business development, sales or partnerships
* You know how to get in front of the right people
* Confidence leading conversations with senior stakeholders
* Strong instinct for what's a real opportunity vs a dead end
* Comfortable working toward targets and owning your numbers
* Experience in creative production, fabrication, events or retail environments
* Existing network across agencies, brands or marketing teams
