About Our Client
Our client is a culturally safe Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander primary health care provider, offering bulk-billing general practice, counselling, health screening, and health promotion services. Based in Rockhampton, our client is committed to improving health outcomes for mob through innovative, community-led care.
About the Role
As Clinic Manager, you'll lead the delivery of comprehensive primary health care services across our clients' clinics. Reporting to the CEO, you'll drive service access, quality care, and financial sustainability, while embedding the approved Model of Care focused on chronic disease management and closing the gap.
Key Responsibilities
Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver culturally safe, high-quality care
Oversee clinic operations, budgets, KPIs, and accreditation processes
Manage visiting specialist and allied health services
Drive quality improvement, clinical governance, and risk management
Build strategic partnerships and community engagement initiatives
What We're Looking For
We're seeking a qualified health professional with experience in clinical management, a strong understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health issues, and the ability to lead change and quality improvement. You'll bring:
* Health professional experience in a primary health care setting
* Relevant degree/diploma in Business, Diploma of Practice Management (HLT52007), or Nursing Degree
* Current Queensland Nursing Registration or relevant medical tertiary qualifications
* Demonstrated leadership in multidisciplinary teams
* Knowledge of Medicare Benefits Schedule and Closing the Gap programs
* Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning skills
