About Our Client
Our Client is a long-standing, community‑controlled health organisation committed to delivering high‑quality, culturally safe primary healthcare and wellbeing services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities across Central Queensland.
For more than 30 years, they've supported mob through comprehensive health programs, early childhood services, chronic disease management, social and emotional wellbeing initiatives, and community advocacy.
This role forms part of their Corporate Services team, contributing to a strong compliance and HR leadership culture across the organisation.
About the Role
The HRM Coordinator plays a key leadership role across Human Resources and Work Health & Safety, helping deliver a high‑performance, culturally safe, compliant, and well‑supported organisation.
You'll lead HR practices, drive people‑focused initiatives, oversee compliance and reporting, build capability across teams, and support managers with contemporary HR and WHS practices. This role also supervises HR administrative staff and coordinates end‑to‑end HR functions.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead HR systems, policies, compliance and people processes across the organisation.
* Support managers with recruitment, onboarding, performance, IR/ER matters and workforce planning.
* Oversee training registers, staff development plans and induction programs.
* Coordinate WHS processes including incident reporting, investigations and mandatory training.
* Manage workers compensation, return‑to‑work processes and employee wellbeing support.
* Supervise HR administrative staff and maintain accurate personnel and HRIS records.
What We're Looking For
* Tertiary qualification in HR, WHS, or related field.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a HR generalist role within complex environments.
* Strong knowledge across HR, industrial relations, compliance, and workforce systems.
* Experience in HR and WHS investigations and incident management
* .Demonstrated capability to design and deliver training programs.
* High-level communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
* Understanding of and ability to work respectfully with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
* Current Blue Card, First Aid/CPR, driver's licence and relevant immunisations.
