Job Title: Sales Manager
About the Role
This is a leadership position within our sales organization, responsible for driving revenue growth and developing high-performing teams across Townsville and Cairns.
The successful candidate will have proven experience in sales leadership, preferably within the building or construction industry, and possess strong commercial acumen and ability to develop and execute sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead sales operations across North Queensland, controlling the sale and distribution of products and services to achieve sales forecasts.
* Develop and implement sales plans, activities, and campaigns to drive business development and customer acquisition.
* Direct, motivate, and evaluate the performance of internal and external sales teams.
* Promote strong relationships with dealers, distributors, and major accounts to drive business growth.
* Manage the day-to-day activities of the sales teams and ensure effective use of CRM systems for managing contacts and opportunities.
Success Requirements:
* Proven experience (3+ years) in sales leadership, preferably within the building or construction industry.
* Strong commercial acumen and ability to develop and execute sales strategies.
* Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
* Preferred tertiary qualifications in business, sales, or a related field.
