In the daunting and unpredictable experience that follows diagnosis, a child needs as much stability and support from their family as possible. Redkite is a lifeline for families, providing real emotional, financial and practical support. Because holding it together when your child's life is in question can feel impossible.
The role: We are seeking a Community Fundraising and Events Manager with the option for either full-time (5 days) or part-time (4 days) hours. This role is responsible for developing and executing Redkite's national community fundraising campaigns and third-party community fundraising events.
This role develops and implements community fundraising campaigns aimed at acquiring, renewing and upgrading existing fundraisers to build Redkite's community fundraising program. Fostering relationships with suppliers, donors, families and volunteers.
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Generation for all community fundraising activities Planning and Reporting Campaign Management Data Management and Administration Relationship Management and Stewardship People Management The role will manage the Community Fundraising Coordinator to guide them to engage with fundraisers who are raising funds for Redkite.
This position will at times be required to represent Redkite at various events and meetings, which will on occasion occur outside normal work hours.
About you: You are a proactive, confident, highly motivated and results driven individual with a passion for fundraising and data analytics. You demonstrate the following skills & experience:
Minimum 2 years' experience in not-for-profit fundraising, either community fundraising or third party fundraising management Experience in end-to-end fundraising campaign management CRM database experience, preferably Salesforce or similar Experience in the development of digital campaigns Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build excellent working relationships with suppliers and other Redkite stakeholders Excellent written and verbal communication skills to enable high level phone and email communications Excellent copy-editing skills with the ability to translate technical content for a wider audience Strong computer skills with advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications and databases Proven results in meeting and exceeding revenue targets Strong data analytical skills Highly organised, possessing excellent project management skills Excellent attention to detail and administrative skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Ability to work both independently and with a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment Strong interest in developing and applying people leadership capabilities For 40 years we have had a single purpose: to be a lifeline for families facing their child's cancer.
