Hotel Chef Position
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Hotel Chef to join our team. As a Demi Chef, you will play a key role in upholding the culinary standards of our hotel while supporting the broader vision of creating exceptional guest experiences.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced chef to contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of our kitchen. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes in a timely manner, supporting the Chef de Partie with daily kitchen operations, maintaining cleanliness, safety, and hygiene standards, minimizing food wastage, and managing resources efficiently.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with our team to deliver outstanding results and uphold our hotel's commitment to quality and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and present high-quality dishes in a timely manner
* Support the Chef de Partie with daily kitchen operations
* Maintain cleanliness, safety, and hygiene standards
* Minimise food wastage and manage resources efficiently
* Assist in training junior staff and uphold team professionalism
* Step in for the Chef de Partie when required
* Follow hotel policies, procedures, and WH&S guidelines
Requirements
* Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment
* Strong culinary skills across multiple disciplines (e.g., cooking, baking, butchery)
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage time effectively
* Commitment to hygiene, safety, and food quality standards
* Leadership potential with a collaborative and supportive attitude
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
