About the role
This is a full-time, fixed-term position through to July 2026, with potential for extension.
We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Travel Operations Coordinator to oversee the end-to-end management of group travel programs. You'll coordinate logistics for both domestic and international itineraries, manage supplier relationships, and ensure seamless service delivery from booking through to post-travel review.

Job description
* Manage and maintain relationships with key suppliers and partners
* Allocate groups to suppliers in line with quality, budget, and operational needs
* Coordinate and track bookings from start to finish
* Approve invoices and monitor budgets
* Troubleshoot issues before, during, and after travel
* Respond to itinerary and pricing queries to support the sales process
* Use product and system knowledge to enhance operational efficiency
* Develop and improve internal processes and procedures
* Maintain accurate data in internal systems and databases
* Prepare reports and updates for management
* Contribute to wider business projects and initiatives

* Base salary of $70K-$80K + super

Experience required
* MINIMUM of 4 years experience in the Travel Industry, ie retail, leisure, groups.
* Knowledge of CRS and ticketing systems - highly regarded
* Strong organisational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail
* Confident communicator with strong relationship-building abilities
* Proven ability to problem-solve and manage competing deadlines
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems quickly
* Passion for travel, education, and delivering exceptional customer experiences
* Tertiary qualification preferred but not essential
