Job Title: HR Generalist
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day HR operations and supporting the recruitment process.
* Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding processes
* Manage employee records and maintain compliance with employment laws
* Support recruitment activities, including posting job ads and scheduling interviews
* Ensure accurate and timely payroll preparation
The successful candidate will have a strong working knowledge of Australian employment law and modern awards. They will also possess excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide generalist HR support to employees and managers
* Develop and implement HR policies and procedures
* Collaborate with the Head of People on projects to improve employee engagement and experience
* Assist with performance reviews and talent development initiatives
Requirements:
* Solid experience in an HR role, preferably in a fast-paced or startup environment
* A strong working knowledge of Australian employment law and modern awards
* Desire to learn and get stuck in
* Ability to demonstrate professionalism, discretion and confidentiality at all times
* Strong emotional intelligence and empathy skills
* Ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritise
* Strong organisation and attention to detail
