About the Role
The Project Manager drives the large-scale delivery of projects across eComX and Group Businesses. Your primary focus will be scaling eCommerce fulfilment solutions through strategic partnerships across Woolworths Group (eCom, BigW, Woolworths NZ, Metro60, and new businesses).
In this role, you will lead large-scale projects per our strategy. You will work within a team of Program and Project Managers and Coordinators.
The Project Manager will prioritise key themes and establish consistent program management practices, aligning programs with strategic goals, ensuring effective governance, optimising resource utilisation, improving program performance, and fostering communication and collaboration to drive the successful delivery of our eCommerce fulfilment Projects.
Key Responsibilities
4. Prioritisation and communication of key project milestones
5. Engage cross-functionally to ensure the project and its execution are met (Schedule, Dependencies, Risk, financials)
6. Hold team members accountable for the quality of delivery
7. Timely and accurate reporting on progress, risks, roadblocks, financials
8. Stage-gate Process Compliance on all projects
9. Management of product pipeline to minimise bottlenecks and deliver cost benefits faster
10. Identifying Process improvements and ongoing maintenance
11. Leading and assisting in investigations of process failures
About You
To be successful in this role, you must have:
12. Qualifications in Project Management or similar + 5 Years of Project Management Experience
13. Understanding of agile ways of working
14. Proven success in taking projects from inception to completion on time
15. Highly effective multi-stakeholder relationship management skills
16. Strong ability to navigate through different functional perspectives and priorities
17. Experience that drives NPD activities whilst maintaining a sensible and pragmatic commercial context
18. Strong negotiating skills
19. Experience in the identification and delivery of process improvement.
Desirable:
20. Experience in the eCommerce fulfilment market and capabilities
21. Understanding of programmatic delivery or experience working in Program Management Offices (PMO)
22. Understanding of retail operations and supply chain
23. Experience working in agile ways of working
