The Child Development Service has a vacancy for a temporary ASO5 Corporate Administration Officer for four days per week.
The Corporate Officer in this position will be focused on supporting the Child Development Service to deliver the best possible outcomes through a range of administrative support functions to provide high-quality customer services to clients and staff.
The role is within the administration team to provide administrative, finance, and business services to CDS to support the needs of the ACT community.
The Corporate Administration Officer oversees a small team and requires excellent supervision, organization, communication, and administration skills, with proficiency in a variety of computer applications, databases, and spreadsheets, and a focus on best practice business processes.

Eligibility/Other Requirements
* Current Australian Driver's license is required.
* Current Working with Vulnerable People registration is required.
* Experience supervising Administration Support Officers.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Database systems.
* Cultural awareness and the capacity to work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and young people are highly desirable.
Note: This is a temporary part-time position available immediately, for four days a week (29:24 hours per week), for seven months, with the possibility of extension up to 12 months and/or permanency. The full-time salary will be pro-rata. Selection may be based on written application and referee reports only. A merit pool will be established for future vacancies over the next 12 months.
