About the role
Selectability is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to cover an acting general manager position in Townsville from December 22 to January 4.
This leave coverage role requires an individual with strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a commitment to improving mental health services.
The acting general manager will work closely with the executive team, stakeholders, and community partners to ensure that selectability's services are accessible, innovative, and align with the diverse needs of the region.
Key Responsibilities:
* Strong leadership skills and a commitment to selectability's values of accountability, commitment, compassion, innovation, integrity, positivity, and respect
* Ability to build and maintain relationships with employees, stakeholders, and community members
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, including presentation skills
* Highly developed analytical problem-solving and numerical skills, including the ability to compile, analyze data, and prepare reports
* A demonstrated high level of attention to detail with a consistent approach
* A demonstrated ability to prioritize conflicting priorities as required
Requirements:
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in psychology, social work, mental health, or a related field (highly desirable)
* Demonstrated experience in mental health, NDIS, and community services (highly desirable)
* A Child Safety & Personal History Screening check
* A Positive Notice Working with Children (blue card) (or the ability to obtain)
* A current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or the ability to obtain)
* NDIS Worker Orientation Module Quality Safety & You completion certificate (or the ability to obtain)
