About Uniting Goonellabah:
Conveniently located in the beautiful Goonellabah township, Uniting Caroona is surrounded by natural beauty. It comprises four separate households, each with up to 20 residents. Your role as a Uniting Homemaker involves ensuring the community is thriving and engaging in meaningful activities.
What you'll be doing in this role:
* Be a clinical leader, developing, delivering, and evaluating resident care plans tailored to individual needs
* Utilize sharp clinical assessment skills and lead in providing clinical services
* Build relationships with residents and become a vital part of their lives
* Ensure care meets residents' personal goals
* Coordinate with medical and allied health professionals and advocate for residents' quality of life
* Supervise and support Personal Care Workers
* Practice holistically, using critical decision-making to lead the team

Who we're looking for:
* Previous registered nursing experience in aged or community care, or a passion to start a career in aged care with a background in wider health sectors
* Adaptable, empathetic, resourceful, excellent time management skills, and aligned with Uniting's values: compassionate, respectful, imaginative, and bold
* Committed to contemporary aged care nursing practice
* Hold a nursing degree with current AHPRA registration
