WE'RE HIRING – SOIL TECHNICIAN

Byers Geotechnical Testing (BGT) is growing and we're on the lookout for a Soil Technician to join our local team.
This is a hands-on role working in both the field and the lab, supporting civil construction, engineering, and government projects across North Queensland.
What you'll be doing:
• Field sampling and compaction testing
• Soil, aggregate & concrete testing
• Recording results accurately
• Working safely and following clear procedures
• Supporting senior technicians and project delivery
What we're looking for:
• Cert III in Laboratory Skills (or working towards it)
• White Card + Driver's Licence
• 1–3 years' experience preferred (entry-level welcome)
• Reliable, practical, and safety-focused
