About the Role
Maintenance Specialist – 100% office based at our Keysborough office.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead facility and equipment maintenance to ensure safe, reliable operations while meeting compliance standards.
* Manage and optimise the maintenance software alongside the Operations Manager.
* Supervise, schedule, and coordinate shop floor maintenance activities to minimise equipment downtime.
* Maintain detailed records and monitor equipment performance to identify improvement opportunities.
* Oversee the preventive maintenance (PM) programme and assist with maintenance budgeting and spare parts control.
* Allocate tasks and coordinate external contractors.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, TPM) and capital project activities.
* Drive the EHS culture by coordinating WHS inductions and emergency preparedness.
* Conduct workplace inspections, audits and WHS compliance activities.
* Lead incident reporting, corrective‐action tracking and assist with return‐to‐work processes.
* Prepare and review WHS training materials while assisting the Production Manager to identify and reduce risks.
Required Qualifications
* Proven experience in plant maintenance and EHS management.
* Certificate IV in Environment, Health and Safety is desirable.
* Trade or technical qualification in mechanical or experience in managing and scheduling maintenance activities.
* At least 5‐7 years of related working experience, preferably in FMC.
* Good analytical/engineering problem‐solving skills and a hands‐on attitude.
