Leadership and Coordination Role
The Transport Operations Supervisor plays a key role in ensuring effective leadership and coordination of heavy vehicle and driver movements.
* Act as the primary liaison for daily operational activities, serving as the point of contact for clients, internal stakeholders, contractors, and suppliers.
* Build, maintain, and nurture strong working relationships with both internal teams and external stakeholders, fostering a collaborative operational culture.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and coordinate all heavy vehicle and driver movements in accordance with Company Policies, Chain of Responsibility (CoR), accreditation requirements, and relevant legislative frameworks.
* Provide support to warehouse operations, assisting in freight handling, load staging, and movement of goods to ensure alignment with operational schedules and client expectations.
Essential Requirements
* 3-5 years of experience in a similar leadership role.
* Heavy Vehicle licence (Desirable).
* Strong knowledge of the transport industry and business management.
