Border Express is an industry leading national transport company, and we're currently seeking experienced MC Linehaul Drivers to join our growing team.
This is a permanent, full‐time opportunity operating rostered Brisbane North Queensland (think Mackay, Townsville for example) linehaul runs with consistent work and reliable pay.

What you'll be doing:
You'll be responsible for completing scheduled overnight linehaul runs from Brisbane into Northern Qld and then return to Brisbane. This role offers consistent start times and well‐planned runs.
Schedule:
Start approx 8:00 pm on a 3 and 2 roster (3 trips one week, 2 trips the next)
Key Responsibilities
* Open and close trailer curtains.
* Strap and unstrap freight as required.
* Strap trailer floors when running empty.
* Operate in line with fatigue, safety, and compliance requirements.
* Maintain a high standard of professionalism and reliability.
* Modern equipment and well‐maintained fleet. (Mercedes Benz Actros)
* Strong operational support.
* Weekly, reliable pay.
* Free, onsite parking.
* Work with a stable, national transport company.
* Be part of a supportive and safety‐focused team.
What we're looking for:
* MC Licence (minimum 2 years experience).
* BFM accreditation and logbooks.
* Previous linehaul and/or night driving experience (preferred).
* Strong knowledge of Brisbane – North Qld corridors.
* Ability to meet tight delivery schedules.
* Physically capable of handling curtains and straps.
* Excellent safety awareness and work ethic.
* Sound knowledge of fatigue management, DG, and Chain of Responsibility.
* Willingness to complete a pre‐employment medical and National Police Check (paid for by Border Express).
