Role Summary:
Curtin University seeks an experienced Administrative Officer to support the daily operations and events of the school. As a key member of the administrative team, you will provide exceptional customer service, manage communications, coordinate events, and maintain accurate records.
The successful candidate will be responsible for welcoming visitors and supporting HDR students, academic staff, and other stakeholders with their queries.
Key Responsibilities:
* Welcoming visitors and supporting HDR students, academic staff, and other stakeholders with their queries.
* Managing shared inboxes, ordering stationery and supplies, and coordinating IT equipment leasing.
* Refreshing content for the school website, curating social media posts, and assisting with travel bookings and procurement.
* Coordinating and delivering school events, providing administrative support for advisory committees and meetings, and collaborating with academic staff on Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A diploma in a related field and significant relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education/training and experience.
* Advanced Microsoft 365 skills and confidence with online content-management systems.
* Exceptional organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
