**About the General Manager role**:
Under the general direction of the Executive Manager Operations Disability, the General Manager will be responsible to ensure quality service delivery under the NDIS in accordance with CLO Vision, Mission and Values. The General Manager will actively contribute to the development and maintenance of strong and effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
You will lead in participant's empowerment to achieve maximum independence, in the least restrictive environment and ensure service delivery is provided using a person centred and culturally sensitive approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the Team Leaders and Roster Officers performance and ensuring teams are adequately supported to implement plans.
- Ensure participants' plans are developed, assessed, reviewed and implemented in consultation with relevant stakeholders.
- Leading teams to provide holistic, person centred, active support services.
- Be a positive brand ambassador for CLO internally and externally.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with linkages with community organisations, developing and driving new opportunities for community engagement and development.
- Ensure support is provided within funding parameters
- Ensure effective succession planning is in place for all leadership roles.
**About You**
To become part of CLO's dynamic operations team, you will have a values match with CLO as a first vital point to success as well as an understanding of the NDIS and how this impacts participants, service providers and staff.
Qualifications & Licences:
- Current 'C Class' Driver's Licence
- Current DHS (Disability-Related) Clearance or NDIS Worker Screening
- First Aid Certificate (HLTAID003 & HLTAID001) - must maintain currency
- Tertiary Qualifications (Bachelor's Degree) in relevant field
- Certificate IV Training & Assessment (desired)
- Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordinator Training (provided)
You will also possess:
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of the NDIS including the Quality and Safeguard Commission.
- A Person Centred approach.
- Flexible working approach, including business services area and hours of work.
- Experience developing professional and accurate reports for stakeholders.
- High-level/advanced computer literacy.
- In-depth knowledge of legislation and principals that underpin operations and services.
- Must be fluent in written and spoken English.
