Job Purpose
In this role you will own and manage key accounts such as Baby Kingdom, Baby Village and Babyroad, which drive significant growth to the ANZ P&L. Your aim as a Key Account Manager is to build, manage, grow and maintain the retail partner relationships.
You are part of the ANZ Commercial team and report directly to the ANZ Sales Director.
What will you do?
* Take ownership of the sales and profitability of the accounts.
* Agree targets, business objectives and commercial terms for accounts to deliver the sales growth.
* Work cross‐functionally to ensure planned intake is executed with logistics and credit limits are managed alongside finance teams.
* Deliver a successful and consistent approach to the commercial terms of all accounts including and not limited to discount structure, growth rebates and promotional plans in agreement with the ANZ Sales Director.
* Deliver training plans and incentives within all your accounts.
* Deliver successful sell‐in of NPD (New Product Development) alongside clear account communication.
* Create and manage Joint Business Plans as mutually agreed with ANZ Sales Director.
* Ensure the ranging is correct for each retailer and stock is managed effectively.
* Work closely with marketing to ensure a consistent and up to date in‐store and online execution of the Bugaboo brand as per guidelines.
* Provide monthly sales forecasting, highlights, risk and opportunities for overall account base.
* Work closely as part of the Commercial Team to deliver successful launch events.
* Work with the Marketing Manager to plan and deliver annual marketing plans.
* Identify possible gaps in upcoming sales forecast vs. budget and find solutions to mitigate these gaps.
* Analyse sales trends to ensure correct ranging and product focus.
* Support the ANZ Sales Director on monthly and annual business planning.
* Conduct quarterly and annual commercial reviews with key accounts to ensure plans remain on track or are adjusted as required.
What you will bring to the table?
* At least 3‐5 years of experience in the retail industry as (Key) account manager.
* Educational background in economics, business/marketing degree or equivalent (preferred).
* Strong relationship management skills.
* Strong commercial awareness and proven financial analysis skills; champion the use of data.
* Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.
* Proven ability to influence across multi‐functions.
* Drive to succeed, with a proactive and innovative approach to problem solving.
* Excellent networking skills to keep close to industry news and competitor activity.
* Experience building and delivering Joint Business Plans.
* Experience delivering growth to existing accounts.
* Fluent English language skills as Bugaboo is an international company.
* Relate openly and comfortably with diverse groups of people and gain the confidence and trust of others through honesty, integrity and authenticity.
