All profit from the sale of goods at Salvos Stores contributes to the important and invaluable community programs operated by The Salvation Army.
Volunteers are an integral part of the Salvos Stores community – generously offering their time to assist with the day-to-day operations of our retail Stores. Volunteer activities at Salvos Stores include – customer service roles, visual merchandising, sorting donations from the public (bric-a-brac/homewares, jewellery, books, toys, etc), assisting with clothes production for retail sale, general housekeeping, and much more.

Requirements
All Salvos Stores Volunteers and Employees will be required to obtain a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check. This can be arranged via The Salvos Stores and discussed with the Store Manager at induction.NOTE: Volunteers under 18 years of age who do not access TSA assets (such as the Point of Sale system) are not required to complete a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check. The minimum age to volunteer is 15 years old.
