The role also involves participation in teaching, research, quality improvement, and administrative activities within the Department of Newborn Care.The Neonatal Unit at RPAH offers comprehensive care in a multidisciplinary environment. Patient care is shared by a team of neonatologists on a rotating roster, emphasizing collaborative practice. The Department of Newborn Care also supports the nursery at The Canterbury Hospital.The Visiting Medical Officer will promote high standards of professional performance and foster an academic environment supporting education, research, and professional development.Applicants must be registered or eligible for specialist registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and hold Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) with recognized neonatal training or equivalent specialist recognition.Salary and conditions are aligned with the NSW Public Hospitals Visiting Medical Officer Determination.Applications are accepted exclusively via eCredential.
