The team comprises over 65 staff members, including air conditioning technicians, plumbers, electricians, service managers, and industry-experienced managers specialising in commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead strategic financial planning, management, compliance reporting, and business risk.
* Develop and analyse financial models to inform decision-making and assess future risks and opportunities.
* Promote cost-effective procurement strategies to lower costs and maximise financial outcomes.
* Provide high-level strategic advice to support operational and strategic objectives, ensuring accurate and robust information drives financial decisions.
* Ensure timely and compliant financial reporting.
* Support senior management in assessing labour and resource requirements and cost-benefit analysis for projects.
* Implement comprehensive financial control policies and procedures, including credit control mechanisms and contract administration strategies, to ensure regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.
* Manage cash position to maintain sufficient liquidity for operational and strategic needs.
* Identify, assess, and mitigate financial and operational risks, ensuring strong internal controls to prevent fraud and errors.
* Prepare financial statements according to accounting standards to ensure regulatory compliance.
* Lead the finance and administrative team, providing direction and advice as required, and ensuring staff perform at a high level.
* Ensure ethical decision-making across all aspects of the business.
Requirements:
You will be CA/CPA qualified with significant experience in financial management in a similar or related industry. You will bring knowledge and expertise to enhance the financial processes and overall performance of our organisation.
