From light trucks to heavy earthmoving equipment, you’ll be at the heart of keeping our operations running smoothly. This position invites you to apply and grow your technical expertise as you dive deep into the complex relationship between mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic subsystems. You'll be interpreting electronic and hydraulic schematics, diagnosing issues, and ensuring accurate plant records are maintained. Your problem-solving skills will be key in ensuring our fleet and equipment stay in top condition, keeping everything running smoothly and efficiently.

A base salary ranging from $63,935 per annum with competency-based increments up to $73,252 per annum, plus 11.5% super
76 hour, 9-day fortnight

We are seeking:
A trade qualification in Automotive Mechanics (Certificate III in Heavy Vehicle, Light Vehicle, Plant Mechanics, or similar)
At least four years of practical experience in workshop operations, including your apprenticeship
A current Medium Rigid Vehicle Licence
Strong reading and writing skills for interpreting manuals and completing reports
Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork
Understanding of safe work practices and procedures
The ability to work independently and in a team
Familiarity with Fleet Management Software, CPU, and EMS systems
