Our client is a leading civil contractor providing various services to the Australian mining industry and are predominantly involved with rehabilitation, construction, and maintenance across the Pilbara region.
By way of business growth and expansion, they are now seeking a Civil Earthworks Supervisor to join their team on a site-based, 2:1 roster to support the smooth and effective running of the project working with a team of roughly 6-10 others.
This is a terrific opportunity for an experienced Building or Construction Supervisor with transferrable skills, looking to step up into a Civil Supervisor role. Or an experienced Civil Earthworks Supervisor seeking to work for a medium sized business where they are a big enough to secure high quality project work, but small enough for you to be a key contributor to the business operations.
**The Role**:
This position will see you involved with the completion of road and tailings rehabilitation projects.
Your duties will include, but not limited to:
- Supervision of Mobile Plant Operators and Labourers in the safe execution of the construction plan
- Problem solve any constructability issues and report back to Project Manager
- Ensure Operators are working in correct manner
- Ensuring work is being met to time and safety standards
**Requirements**:
To be successful for this position, you will require the following:
- 3 + years of experience working in a Construction Supervisor role (off the tools)
- Civil earthworks experience and knowledge
- Section 44 or prepared to obtain
- Previous FIFO experience (advantage)
- Current Drivers licence (essential)
