Miga (Medical Insurance Group Australia) is a member‐owned organisation, supporting over 40,000 medical professionals across Australia, including doctors, medical students, practices and healthcare organisations.

Providing insurance, medico‐legal support and a range of exclusive benefits to members, Miga plays a critical role in enabling safe, confident practice and high‐quality patient care.

With a strong national footprint and a clear strategic focus on customer insight, data, and performance‐driven culture, Miga is investing in the evolution of its education offering, recognising a significant opportunity to expand engagement, scale delivery, and enhance member value.

Impact you will have in this role

This is a newly created role with a clear mandate to transform and scale Miga's national education program.

Reporting to the Head of Member Marketing and Education, you will own the development and execution of a 12–18‐month education and content roadmap shaping a contemporary, insight‐led program delivered across in‐person events, webinars, and digital learning.

With a membership base of over 40,000, and a significant opportunity to increase engagement and participation, you will build a more structured, scalable and high‐impact education ecosystem, developing repeatable formats, diversifying education events and delivery channels, and ensuring education content is practical, relevant, and aligned to member needs.

Operating with a strong product mindset, you will translate complex clinical and risk topics into clear, engaging content, while embedding data, insights, and performance metrics to continuously improve reach, engagement, and ROI.

You will lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of 5, with scope to build capability as the program scales, and build a national network of partners who will be subject matter experts across hospitals, colleges, and regulators. Working closely with internal stakeholders across claims, advocacy, membership and marketing, you will ensure a coordinated, high‐quality member experience.

This role also requires strong executive presence, with the ability to provide insights, influence direction, and engage confidently with senior leadership and board‐level stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

* Develop and lead the education strategy and 12–18‐month content roadmap aligned to member needs and business priorities
* Design and deliver a scalable, multi‐channel education program delivered across events, webinars, and digital platforms

* Lead, coach and develop a high‐performing team across content and education delivery
* Create repeatable, high‐impact content and education delivery formats to drive engagement at scale
* Translate complex medico‐legal, professional and risk topics into clear, practical and engaging content
* Oversee content quality, governance and review processes across the education ecosystem
* Partner cross‐functionally with internal teams including advocacy, claims, and marketing
* Define and track performance metrics, using data and insights to optimise engagement and ROI
* Manage budgets, systems, vendors, and operational delivery of the program
* Contribute to governance and stakeholder engagement, including board and subcommittee interactions

Skills and experience

We're looking for a strategic, commercially minded leader who brings both a builder's mindset and the ability to operate at pace in a complex, multi‐stakeholder, regulated environment.

You will bring:

* Strong experience in content strategy, education programs, or multi‐channel engagement functions
* A proven ability to build and scale programs and comfortable creating structure where it doesn't yet exist
* Experience developing and managing partnerships and external contributor networks
* A commercial and data‐led mindset, with the ability to translate insights into action and measurable outcomes
* Confidence working with digital platforms, vendors and technology‐enabled member experiences
* A creative and modern approach to content and engagement, with a focus on relevance, quality and impact
* Strong ownership mindset, pace and resilience in dynamic environments, with the ability to lead from the front and bring others on the journey
* Strong influencing skills, with confidence engaging and challenging senior stakeholders
* A highly collaborative approach, working effectively across teams to deliver integrated outcomes
* Experience leading change, redesigning operating models or transforming legacy programs
