Project Manager Role Overview
The primary objective of this Project Manager role is to develop and deliver road maintenance and minor works projects efficiently.
* Manage the investigation, design, and delivery process through the readiness phase to ensure projects are developed and delivered within agreed time, cost, quality, and scope requirements.
* Engage contractors and administer contracts throughout the delivery phase to complete maintenance and minor works projects successfully.
* Implement effective cost management processes to ensure accurate forecasts and financial performance.
* Collaborate with specialists to establish and enforce high-level workplace health and safety and environmental management practices on projects and contracts.
This role is based in Dubbo, NSW, Australia and requires experience working on NSW Govt. Transport Projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
* Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers.
* Monitor project progress and report on achievements and challenges.
* Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
Requirements:
* Experience working on infrastructure or transportation projects.
* Strong project management skills and knowledge of project management methodologies.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Able to work independently and as part of a team.
