You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following key capabilities, knowledge, and experience. Within the context of the responsibilities described above under ‘Your key responsibilities', the ideal applicant will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
* Experience in collecting diagnostic samples from a range of patients, including children and infants.
* Demonstrated experience or ability to acquire experience in correct pre-analytical processing procedures for laboratory testing.
* Proven ability to follow instructions and work conscientiously and accurately with minimal supervision after careful instruction.
* Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively and work productively in a team environment.
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to focus in a busy, complex environment.
* A high level of commitment to quality management principles and continuous quality improvement.
