The Role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Psychologist with solid expertise in counselling for children (ages 4+), adolescents, and young adults. The ideal candidate will be skilled in sand therapy, play therapy, and other child‑centred therapeutic approaches, with a commitment to fostering emotional resilience, wellbeing, and growth. As part of our psychology team, you will be provided with administrative support, including billing clients, managing bookings and waitlists, appointment confirmations, SMS reminders and room bookings. The Registered Psychologist will contribute to high quality care to achieve best outcomes for clients and their families.
About You
- Provide individual counselling and psychological support for children, teenagers, and young adults.
- Use play therapy and sand therapy techniques to support emotional expression and healing.
- Conduct assessments and develop personalised treatment plans using assessment tools such as DASS or K10.
- Collaborate with parents, families, and schools to support holistic care.
- Maintain accurate clinical notes and documentation.
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and supportive team culture.
- Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to engage people from all backgrounds.
- Hold full registration as a Registered Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA).
