Job Opportunity
This role involves acting for government authorities, providing legal services and support.
Key responsibilities include:
* Handling complex contractual disputes and regulatory enforcement matters.
* Representing clients in judicial reviews, hearings before tribunals, merits reviews, FOI matters, insurance/tortious matters, and investigations.
* Providing advice on the powers and functions of government clients and natural justice requirements.
* Drafting recommendations and reports.
As a successful candidate, you will have:
* 1-3 years' experience in litigation, with an advantage if you have public/administrative law experience.
* Strong drafting skills and effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* The ability to juggle competing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Enthusiasm, drive, and commitment to progressing your career in public/administrative law.
