Overview
YMCA Camp Manyung are seeking a casual Maintenance Grounds Officer to join their dynamic team on the Mornington Peninsula.
Camp Manyung is a recreation camp located in Mt Eliza and managed by YMCA Camps, catering to schools and groups year-round with programs and activities to suit every group.
The role offers casual hours, development opportunities, and benefits.
Casual rate: $33.37 per hour + Superannuation and Y Benefits.
Responsibilities
General maintenance of Camp Manyung, including buildings and campgrounds
Developing, designing, building and maintaining new garden areas and vegetable/edible gardens in line with the camp's Environmental Management Plan
Upholding the values of the YMCA at all times
About You
You are a handy person with knowledge and/or experience in gardening principles and maintenance.
You possess attention to detail and pride in your work.
You are an excellent problem solver with effective time management skills, allowing you to multitask and prioritise work where required.
You are a solid communicator and can demonstrate the core values of the YMCA day-to-day.
