About the role
The Workplace Health and Safety Officer (WHS Officer), as a member of the Work Health and Safety team will contribute to the development, implementation and review of health, safety and wellbeing initiatives and processes, that contribute to a healthy and safe work environment for all.
To be successful in this role you will ideally have experience in providing accurate administrative support, maintaining records and databases, and preparing reports or meeting documentation. You will be confident using software systems and demonstrate strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively. You will be committed to building your knowledge of workplace health and safety and undertaking further training and mentoring.
To work for the College, you may be required to hold Australian or Australian equivalent qualification(s). If your qualification has been obtained overseas, the Overseas Qualifications Unit (OQU) offers a free assessment service to have your tertiary or higher education qualification(s) recognised.
